Old And Expired Makeup!

Today post is just going to be a short one for personal reasons but a very important one! Now of course we all love makeup here and if you guys are like me I love collecting things and because I try out so many products I rarely finish anything so I have to rememeber when I opened it because makeup does has an expectation date on!

– Liquid Foundation, Concealer and Cream Blush- 6 to 12 months

– Mascara- 3 to 6 months

– Powder, Blush, Bronzer and eyeshadow- up to a 1 year

– Liquid Eyeliner and Lipstick- 6 months Max.

– Pencil Eyeliner and Lipliner- up to 2 years

-Moisturisers and Skin Care- Unopended 3 years, opened 1 to 2 years depending on the ingredients

There is ways to protect your makeup products and to make sure no bacteria can alter or shorten the life of your products. Always use clean hands and fingers when handeling products. Don’t mix water or salivia to dilute any makeup, this could cause bacteria to spread and could end up irritating the skin or worse.

I hope this little blog post helped you and inspired you to have a clean out of your  makeup collection! Remember to follow me on Instagram for more updates!

Kisses,

TMJ
